Jethro Tull: it was October 12, 1979

On October 12, 1979, during a Jethro Tull concert  at Madison Square Garden, an over-energetic fan threw a rose on stage and caught Ian Anderson in the eyes!

Anderson will wear a "patch" and will be forced to cancel two concerts.

He will continue the American dates wearing a pair of glasses and in some concerts, as a "precaution", he will have a fishing net placed in front of the stage, for fear that other objects will be thrown.
