Nel ricordo di Cozy Powell, di Wazza

Era un giorno di pioggia bestiale -5 aprile 1998- sull'autostrada M4 vicino a Bristol.

Mentre guida la sua Saab 9000 Cozy Powell muore a seguito di un violento urto contro uno spartitraffico.

Cozy Powell, nome d'arte di "Colin Flooks", batterista inglese, soprannominato il martello, ha suonato con tantissimi gruppi di primo piano: Whitesnakes, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Emerson Lake & Powell, registrando un’infinità di album in veste di richiestissimo session man.

Grande appassionato di motori e corse -è stato anche pilota in formula 3- fu grande tifoso della Ferrari, tanto da scrivere all'interno del suo album Tilt "Forza Ferrari".

Un mito per molti batteristi.
