Compie gli anni oggi, 13 marzo, Dave Mattacks, batterista produttore.

Non solo il “drummer dei Fairport Convention, ma anche richiestissimo session man, suonando  in 200 album di diversi artisti.

Ha fatto parte anche della famiglia Jethro Tull nel tour del 1992, debuttando (guarda il caso) il 13 marzo 1992. Da quel tour venne pubblicato l’album “A Little Light Music”.

Con i Fairport Convention ha inciso album entrati nella storia del folk-rock (e non solo) Ligi & Lief, Full House, Nine…

Se pensate che il “vero batterista” sia solo muscoli e potenza vi limitate a guardare il dito e non la luna…
