Nasceva il 29 ottobre 1933 Tony Stratton-Smith, manager imprenditore, produttore, fondatore dell’etichetta musicale “Charisma Records”, vera fucina di talenti.

Da giornalista sportivo si trasforma in vero e proprio “talent scout”.

Grazie a lui Genesis, Van der Graaf Generator, Audience, Lindisfarne, Atomic Rooster e molte altre band sono entrate nella storia.

Morì di cancro al pancreas nel marzo del 1987.
